I had a goal of 3 miles today.  And I DID IT!  I went 3 miles.  I had to walk a couple times but my goal was to be out there for 3 miles and thats what I did.  Like London Tipton says "Yea for me!"

That is GREAT news!! Nothing feels like meeting your goals.

So this long term goal you have of running a half marathon ... do you have a specific date or race picked out yet?

YEAH FOR YOU!!!! Great job. So, what is the next goal so I can be here to cheer you on?

Happy Monday - I want to run 25 miles this month. Thats my next goal.

I dont have a 1/2 picked out. I need to do that to keep me on track. : )

When are you thinking you want to run a half? This spring, this summer, one year from now?

From sunnyrun on Mon, Dec 08, 2008 at 13:01:07

No later than Spring. I had wanted to run the Painters, but hurt my knee in October, just started running again. The most I have ever run is 4 miles. SO a half is huge for me. I have a lot of training to do.

How about the Ogden Half in May? I love that course!! (Or are you wanting to stay close to home?)

From Kelli on Mon, Dec 08, 2008 at 13:50:08

So, will you try to do the 5k (isn't there one during Painters???)

Best of luck with the 25 miles, you can do it! Just keep that IT band all stretched out so you do not get hurt again!

We WILL see you when we all come down there for sure!!!

Teena- Ogden in May would be fun. We lived in Utah Valley for 15+years so northern Ut is "home". Ill have to look up more info on it.

Kelli- Im planning on the 5k next month. And Yes, for sure this time we have to meet up!
