Woke up at 1am with intense pain in my hamstring.  I liked the night run last night, but I need my sleep and don't like pain (hugh go figure)  :)

Did AM/PM Yoga, hope this helps out today.

I was juts going to ask if you have tried any Yoga!?! Keep it up, your leg is bound to straighten out sometime! I am sorry it is still hurting, though. BUMMER.

From Sunnyrun on Fri, Mar 06, 2009 at 11:38:01 from 209.33.198.132

Hi - thanks for thinking of me! On my last run 3 weeks ago I really hurt my leg. Ive stayed off it and it is finally not throbbing. I just fot insurance (March 1) so I am going into the dr next week. My friend that runs a lot (like you) thinks Im out of alignment, so I will also hit the chiropractor. Thanks for your kind thoughts. Ive kept up with you on your blog. Hope your birthday and vacation were fun!

From Sunnyrun on Mon, Mar 23, 2009 at 15:30:13 from 209.33.198.132

Hi - no :) I wish - it has been really nice here. Love spring time!

I have to wait 30 days for my insurance to kick in, such a bummer, otherwise it will be considered a "pre existing" injury. Which it is..but...

Im super discouraged, and still in pain.

Thanks for thinking of me especially pre and post your 1/2. You ROCK!! I know it wasnt the exact result you wanted this weekend, but Hey! You were out there and did IT! Good Job!

Ill keep you posted - thanks again

My husband is In St George right now. he had to drive there yesterday and he said the weather was awful. I hope it stays that way while he is there so he does not have any fun without me.

I am sorry you still hurt, that sucks! Do not get discouraged, it will get better. Can you bike at all?

From Sunnyrun on Mon, Mar 23, 2009 at 16:07:00 from 209.33.198.132

Too funny! ya its cold and windy today.

I was biking, but stopped in case I was doing more harm. My aerobic exercise is now going to the fridge and back, my squats are getting up from the couch to go back to the fridge - lol

Have a great day - thanks for the thoughts

Again, how are ya?

From Sunnyrun on Mon, Apr 06, 2009 at 18:34:57 from 209.33.198.132

I was thinking about you today too! Hows your hip? Looks like you had a great run this am.

Im doing better, on an anti-inflam and its working - YEA! I played a mean game of soccer with my kids yesterday after Conference, ran with out pain (even scored a goal). Doc said to stay off for 3 weeks, so next week Im heading out again. Thanks for the note!!

From Kelli on Mon, Apr 06, 2009 at 19:16:20 from 71.219.95.20

I am so glad it is starting to get better!!! Conference Sunday can be so long, we should have gone outside instead of sitting on our rumps eating all day. What were we thinking???? We even had temps of about 45 for a change!!!

My hip is okay. Sometimes it hurts, sometimes it doesn't. I only ran 8 miles last week, so I am feeling pretty good right now.

I will be checking back to see how the activity goes once you get the green light.

I hope your hamstring doesn't give you as much trouble as mine is giving me.
