Did Yogo and rode the bike.

After meeting a lot of northern runners this weekend prior to Painters, I feel inadequate being on this runners blog.  However, I get a lot of inspiration from everyone and one day when I finish a race, you all can say "I knew her when..."   Im still having constant pain with my hamstring, it feels like I have a wooden leg. My husband wants me to go to the doctor, but he will just tell me to stay off it and stretch, so I havent gone.

sory about that. Will (3) wanted to type. He's a funny guy :)

3 years ago I weighed 82 more lbs than I do now. I set a goal to run a 5k when I was 37, a 10k when I was 38 and a 1/2 when I was 39. I get to run a marathon when I am 40. I really never thought that I could do any of them, and yet I am :D Last weekend was my 39 year old 1/2.

YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH YOUR GOALS!!! You are going to smash them!! :) You belong on this blog!

Are you going to run Onion Days???

From Sunnyrun on Tue, Jan 20, 2009 at 17:14:12

I love how you set realistic goals and then did baby steps to achieve them. Great Job, Im very impressed!!

Onion Days?? That was my last race back in 2003 -24:37. Where has the time gone?!

From Marion on Tue, Jan 20, 2009 at 17:15:19

your 5k time is AWESOME!!

From Smooth on Tue, Jan 20, 2009 at 17:20:32

Hey SR, it was nice meeting you and your hubby at the condo. Your 5K time at Onion Days was very impressive. You're getting there, gradually and surely back to your former speedy self. Take care of that hammie.

I am sorry your legs is still hurting. Maybe you should go to the Dr again, really! If you go to a sports doctor they usually fins some kind of exercise you can do while you heal! YOGA is good, though!

Have a great weekend and we love having you on the blog whether you run or not! Who cares anyway???
